Laine provides dressage instruction and training for the horse and rider from Training Level to Fourth Level. She holds her USDF Bronze Medal and is collecting scores for her Silver Medal on her Thoroughbred gelding, Atticus. Her training and teaching methods have evolved from working with a list of professionals including Jane Weatherwax, Axel Steiner, Jurgen Hoffman, Tracey Hill and Lena Wedenmark, and Lynn Roberts-Johnson. She is constantly continuing her dressage education. She specializes in developing young horses, re-starting problem horses and reconditioning rehabilitated sport horses. |
“Horses with good dressage basics are fun to ride, and riders with good balance and precise aids are more effective. It is my purpose as an instructor to teach the rider to be a kind influence on their horse through their own balance and aids. As a trainer it is my purpose to educate and condition the sport horse, so that they are well equipt for their job. Whatever your riding goals may be, dressage basics will help you communicate clearly with your horse making your partnership more enjoyable.” |
